April in Arizona

There is a lot going on during the month of April in Arizona. Check out 5 things to do this month.

  1. The Phoenix Flea is back! The event is a favorite of many around the state. Head to Heritage Square in Downtown Phoenix on Saturday, April 9th to shop from over 100+ vendors. Believe me, it’s a great event. There is a $5 entrance fee and the event goes from 10 AM - 5 PM. Additional details can be found here.

  2. The Arizona International Film Festival runs April 20th - 30th in Tucson, Arizona. This is the longest running film festival in Arizona. This year marks the 30th year of the festival. Check out the website for venues, tickets and more!

  3. Junk in the Trunk Market will be held April 22nd - 24th at WestWorld in Scottsdale. This market features one-of-a-kind products from unique vendors. Be ready to shop vintage, local and handmade items. It’s a great event and be ready to shop!

  4. Mark your calendar for the Yuma Children’s Festival of the Arts on April 23rd. This is an event for all ages and is presented by the Yuma Art Center and the Historic Yuma Theatre. Main Street will be full of activity booths. The event is free to attend.

  5. Book your tour to the Chihuly in the Desert at Taliesin West. Dan Chihuly’s art is featured at Frank Lloyd Wright’s desert laboratory in Scottsdale. The exhibit will run through mid June. I recommend visiting before it warms up a bit.

Make the most of spring in the desert and enjoy these events!
