Check out the vintage cars at the Midnight at the Oasis

March is a great month in the state of Arizona. Flowers bloom, the days get a bit longer and people seem to spend more time enjoying the outdoors. The good weather mixed with fun events make for a good time. Check out events that you don’t want to miss that are happening throughout the state.

Phoenix

  • 2/24-3/28: The Cactus League has kicked off spring a bit early with the start of baseball’s spring training. Check the schedule to see when you can see your favorite team play. Sunshine and a day game are a perfect mix for a good day in the desert.

  • 3/17: Get ready to laugh as Nick Offerman performs his standup act at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino. Ticket prices range from $64-$94 + taxes and fees.

Tucson

  • 3/4-3/5: Book lovers, this event is for you! The Tucson Festival of Books will be held on the Mall of the University of Arizona campus. Events include author presentations, new books and more. The event is free.

  • 3/17-3/19: The LIV Tour will make a stop at The Gallery Golf Club in Marana. This highly anticipated event showcases several well known professional golfers. Count on watching good golf, listening to live music and delicious food! Tickets are available, starting at $30. Children under 12 are free. Get your tickets!

  • 3/19: Support artisans at the Made in Tucson Spring Market. The event will be end on 4th Ave & 7th Street and will host over 300 vendors. This is a great community event highlighting several artisans and food vendors.

Yuma

  • 3/3-3/5: The Caballeros de Yuma are hosting the 30th Annual Midnight at the Oasis. This well known car show captures the attention from many locals and visitors. Enjoy viewing classic cars and listening to live music. Weekend passport tickets are available for $30 or specific event tickets are also available.

  • 3/5: The Sunshine Cafe is hosting their monthly small business market from 8 am - 2 pm on Sunday, March 5th. Enjoy a cup of coffee, a treat from the cafe and show some love to local small business vendors. I’ll have a booth and sure hope to see you there!

  • 3/11: MCAS is hosting the Yuma Air Show for the first time since 2019. Come out to support our local marine base and the incredible pilots. This air show is always entertaining and admission is free. The gates open at 9 am, with the event beginning at 10 am. Spectators must arrive by noon to enter the event. The show will end by 2 pm.
