What to Watch on Netflix

Most people are finding that they have a little more time than usual to watch Netflix. I don’t know about you, but I have recently watched a few series and movies that I have really enjoyed. They are definitely worth sharing. I’ve got a little something for everyone on my list.

Comedy

  • Arrested Development - This is an oldie, and it sure is funny! This show will make you feel better about your family dynamics.

  • Grace & Frankie - Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin will keep you entertained throughout this series. They are hysterical and have an unconventional friendship. There are six seasons available to stream.

  • Julie & Julia - If you love to cook, but maybe just aren’t the best in the kitchen, give this throwback a view. It will make you happy and encourage you to get cooking!

  • The Office - Yes, we started from the beginning and are laughing our way through the series.

  • Schitt’s Creek - This show is one of my all time favorites. If you haven’t started watching the show, you need to add it to your list.

  • Working’ Moms - A show that tells is how it is for moms that are working. It is sure to make you laugh.

    Docuseries / Documentaries-

  • Dirty Money - Watch this series to take an insider look at the corruption that occurred in some large corporations.

  • Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez - We are all familiar with the young football player that was found guilty of murder, but if you do not know a lot about the past of Hernandez, it is worth the watch.

  • The Chef Show - Did you happen to watch the movie, Chef with Jon Favreau? If not, you should watch it. It is a great movie about a food truck, (which is definitely a bucket list item for me). Anyhow, The Chef Show is focused on cooking. Jon Favreau and Roy Choi recreate many of the dishes from the movie, Chef in addition to many other meals. There are now there seasons you can stream. If nothing else, the show will inspire you to spend more time in the kitchen and cook.

  • The Dawn Wall - If you like the outdoors at all, you need to watch this documentary. The film follows two incredible free climbers that attempt to climb in Yosemite National Park. It has a score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. I’m not sure if I’ve seen a movie with that high of a rating before. It’s well worth the watch.

  • The Pharmacist- After the pharmacist’s son is murdered, he goes to great lengths to uncover the opioid crisis and corruption.

  • The Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem & Madness - Ok, this is definitely a series I had heard a lot of people mention and there are a million memes that we’ve all seen that relate to this show. I was curious about the series and can’t stop watching it.

  • The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez -This is hard series to watch, but it is very interesting. The show will have you thinking, how did Gabriel slip through the cracks and not get the help he needed?

    Drama

  • Better Call Saul - If you are like me and enjoyed Breaking Bad, watch the prequel Better Call Saul. Four seasons are available.

  • Marriage Story - This film captures a marriage falling apart. It made me sad to watch, but it’s a really good movie.

  • Ozark - I couldn’t be happier that the newest season has just been released! I’m eager to get through the season, but want to make the season last so I am not going to binge watch Ozark.

    Classic Movies-

This category doesn’t need any explanation, they are just good movies that never get old.

    • Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

    • Groundhog Day

    • Hook

    • Step Brothers

    • The Croods

What is a series or movie that you have enjoyed watching? I am always looking for another series and/or film to add to my list.
