Happy New Year: Planning a Little Fun in the Everyday Moments of 2026
Happy New Year!
Whether you’re reading this on January 1st or sometime later (because life happens), I hope 2026 is already meeting you with a little softness.
There’s something about the start of a new year that naturally invites reflection. We pause. We look back. We imagine what’s ahead. And while goal-setting and fresh starts can be helpful, they can also quietly turn into pressure—another list, another expectation, another version of “doing it right.”
This year, I’m trying something different.
Instead of focusing on big resolutions or perfect plans, I’m leaning into planning a little fun in the everyday moments. The small things. The ordinary joys. The moments that don’t need to be optimized or shared or justified to count.
That’s where Sunny Days with Kelly Bingo 2026 comes in.
Have fun completing your bingo card!
Why a Bingo Card?
A bingo card might sound simple—and that’s exactly the point.
Sunny Days Bingo isn’t about productivity or achievement. It’s not a challenge to complete as quickly as possible. It’s a playful way to stay connected to yourself throughout the year, noticing what brings ease, joy, curiosity, or calm into your days.
The squares are filled with gentle prompts—things you may already be doing, things you want to do more of, and things that remind you to slow down. Think:
Spending time outside
Moving your body in a way that feels good
Resting without guilt
Trying something new
Finding joy in ordinary moments
None of these require a special budget, a perfect schedule, or a major lifestyle overhaul. They’re already available to us, woven into daily life, waiting to be noticed.
Planning Fun Without Pressure
One of my favorite things about this bingo card is that it doesn’t demand consistency. You don’t have to check in daily, weekly, or even monthly. You can fill in a square today, forget about it for weeks, and come back when it feels right.
Some squares might get checked off quickly. Others might sit untouched all year—and that’s okay. This isn’t about finishing. It’s about doing the things you enjoy.
Planning fun doesn’t have to mean planning more. Sometimes it’s simply giving yourself permission to notice what’s already good.
How to Use Sunny Days Bingo
There are two versions available to download:
A blank bingo card, ready for you to make your own
A prefilled bingo card, filled out as inspiration
You can:
Keep it on your phone and mark it digitally
Save it to your camera roll for easy check-ins
Or print it out and keep it somewhere you’ll see it
And if you’re like me, sometimes it’s just really satisfying to have a paper copy—something you can physically check off as you go. There’s something grounding about putting pen to paper, even for something small.
Stick it on your fridge. Tuck it into a planner. Slide it into a journal. Let it live with you, not over you.
One Filled, One Blank—Both Count
The prefilled version is there to spark ideas, not to set a standard. Your bingo card doesn’t need to look like mine—or like anyone else’s. Your year will unfold in its own way, and your bingo card will reflect that.
You might:
Circle squares instead of checking them off
Fill in dates or little notes
Return to the same square more than once
There’s no wrong way to play.
A Gentle Invitation for 2026
As this new year begins, my hope is that Sunny Days Bingo becomes a quiet companion—something you return to when you need a reminder that small moments matter.
You don’t need to earn rest.
You don’t need to maximize joy.
You don’t need to keep up.
You just need to notice.
If 2026 brings growth, that’s wonderful. If it brings rest, that’s wonderful too. And if it brings a mix of both—messy, imperfect, real—that counts just as much.
Here’s to planning a little fun in the everyday moments.
Here’s to more sunshine, more ease, and more paying attention.
You can download the Sunny Days with Kelly Bingo 2026—both the pdf versions in one file or the blank digital or prefilled version is available. Print it out, save it to your phone, and have fun completing it in whatever way feels right to you.
Happy New Year, I’m so glad you’re here.
